Browse the catalog and create a retail product

This is the everyday path. The blank already exists. You pick it, place art, and save a retail product.

If Catalog does not have the garment, stop. Add the base product first — Add a base product.

Breadcrumb: Catalog. URL ends in /products/new-product.

Header Create → Product → Add to catalog is the same page.

Pick a blank

  1. Open Products → Catalog.
  2. Search a style, brand, or name, or click a category.
  3. Open the blank. That is the blank details page (PDP).
  4. Click Customize.

Blank details

You land in the customizer for that blank. Apparel uses /products/new-product/{id}. Stickers, posters, necklaces, and DTF have their own customizer URLs — same job.

Coming from a quote, a manual order, or Design Library, Catalog skips the details page and opens the customizer directly. A Design Library seed shows a banner: the art will be placed for you.

Design

Place artwork, text, or an AI design on the print areas. Switch colors to preview. Image Studio is for editing the art, not for saving the product.

Customizer

Decoration pricing on the blank has to exist or the designer cannot price the job. That is Pricing tables, attached on the blank under print methods.

Save it

  1. Go to the listing / details step (page 1 in the customizer).
  2. Name the product. Set State to Draft or Active.
  3. Optionally pick Add to Channel and a channel category.
  4. Click Create Product.

You leave the customizer. The product is under Products → Retail Products (breadcrumb My Products).

Draft stays in Riverr. Active is ready to sell / sync. You can still add a channel later from Retail Products.

If the blank is missing

On Catalog, admins see Can't find what you are looking for? → Add Base Product now. That opens Add a product and, after setup, jumps straight into this customizer.

Do not use that button to redesign a blank that is already in the list. Pick the existing card.
