Capacity — why inbound is blocked
Last updated August 20, 2026
Two different numbers. Do not look for a per-product unit ceiling — that was removed.
Per-slot fill (ops)
How many units fit on A-02-3. Set when you generate an aisle, or on the slot. This is a physical fit number for the picker.
3PL budget (program)
Physical slots × oversubscription % = the budget you can promise. House reserved is carved out of that from your blank footprint so sellers are not offered the whole building.
Inbound blocks when physical occupancy hits the Block inbound at % (default 95%). That check runs when a seller announces a shipment, not when you approve enrollment.
Where to look
- Settings → Inventory → Warehouse program → Program defaults — oversubscription, block %, default per-seller ceiling for new sellers
- Settings → Inventory → Slots & zones — capacity panel (physical slots, house reserved, units per slot)
- 3PL → Enrollment — facility bar (house reserved, on hand, seller budget)
Per-seller cap
Optional and independent of the floor block. Empty means unlimited for that seller. This is not a cap on each SKU.
Sellers never see house reserved or oversubscription.
When someone hits a limit
| What they hit | Look here |
|---|---|
| Seller cannot announce a shipment | Facility occupancy / block % — Enrollment or Slots & zones |
| Seller cap | Warehouse program defaults and that seller's record |
| Putaway refused | Wrong owner already on the slot — not capacity |
| Enrollment blocked | Missing weight, dimensions, or barcode/photo — not capacity |
