Turn on the warehouse program

Two switches. Warehouse is your own building: the floor, house blanks, receiving, and putaway. 3PL program adds everything else: finished goods, pre printed retail, seller sent stock, and seller pre printed stock.

Settings → Inventory → 3PL program

Before you flip it

The switch stays greyed out until both of these are true:

1. Warehouse is on. If not, the page says Enable Warehouse first with a Go to Warehouse link.
2. The floor has bins. If not, the page links you to Go to Floor → Build layout.

You do not need blanks on hand. Finished goods and seller stock can run with no blanks on the floor.

Turn it on

1. Open Settings → Inventory → 3PL program.
2. Flip Enable 3PL program.

It saves right away. There is no confirm step. The page says 3PL program is on.

Three more cards appear:

What appears

• 3PL in the admin menu: Products, Retail stock, Sellers, Sync settings
• Seller shipments on Inventory → Receiving (the receiving page itself is there for house stock either way)
• Stock orders and house retail
• Inventory in the seller portal: My stock, Send inventory, Shipments. Sellers find Stock sync under Settings → Inventory

Sellers then ask to store inventory with you from My stock. You approve them on 3PL → Sellers. See Approve a seller to store inventory.

Turn it off

Flip the same switch. The page says 3PL program is off. Seller approvals and seller stock are kept. The 3PL menu and the seller Inventory menu are hidden. House blanks stay on the floor.

What we accept from sellers

Set these once. Approved sellers send whatever fits. A product that breaks a rule is flagged on its shipment for you to approve or decline. Leave a box empty for no limit. Full list: Approve a seller to store inventory.

Products need a barcode is off by default. Off, the Riverr box label is all the dock needs. On, sellers type or scan the barcode the first time they send a product. Turn it on only if you scan item barcodes at the dock.

When the warehouse is full

Stop inbound at % accepts 50 to 100 and starts at 95. Change the number, then click Save. It applies to every warehouse you run.

Occupancy is occupied bins versus bins on the floor. Bins held for house stock keeps space for your own stock. See Capacity.
