Turn on the warehouse program

Last updated August 20, 2026

One switch makes all five stock types available: blanks, house finished goods, pre-printed retail, seller-sent stock, and seller pre-printed stock.

Read What lives in the warehouse first if those names are new.

Where

Settings → Inventory → Warehouse program

Before you flip it

The page lists what is required. You need a warehouse and physical slots. Build those under Settings → Inventory → Slots & zonesBuild the floor.

The location picker in the header already scopes the warehouse. You do not name a second warehouse here.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings → Inventory → Warehouse program.
  2. Flip Enable warehouse program.
  3. Confirm Turn on warehouse.

House reserved slots are seeded from your current blank footprint so sellers are not offered the whole building. You can turn the program off later without deleting enrollments or stock.

What appears

  • 3PL in the admin nav: Receiving, Enrollment, Retail stock, Sellers, Sync settings
  • Stock orders, house retail, and seller receiving
  • Capacity (oversubscription + house reserved) under Slots & zones
  • Inventory in the seller portal (My products, Enrollment, Send stock)

When the switch is off, the warehouse still holds blanks on the floor plan. The other four types stay hidden.

Inbound barcode (optional)

Still on this page, under Inbound receiving:

Require a barcode to enroll seller-owned products is off by default. Leave it off if receivers confirm items by photo. Turn it on only if you scan barcodes at the dock — then sellers must supply a barcode before they can request enrollment.

This is your rule for this warehouse, not a Riverr-wide setting.

Program defaults

Oversubscription %, Block inbound at %, and the default per-seller ceiling live here. Those are facility and seller-level numbers — not a cap on each product. See Capacity.
