Create a product from a SanMar blank

Add a supplier blank (SanMar appears as a supplier in the picker, not as its own nav item), then decorate it into a retail product.

Who this is for

Enterprise admins use Products → Blanks. Pro sellers (not admins) use Settings → Commerce → Catalog → Blank products. Admins hitting the Settings URL are redirected to /products/blanks.

Prerequisites

  • Admin: planId is not SELLERCORE; Blanks visible under Products
  • Or pro seller with Settings → Blank products
  • Optional: SanMar API connected under Settings → Organization → Integrations (supplier credentials — separate from this wizard)

Steps — create / import the blank

  1. Admin: left nav Products → Blanks (/products/blanks). Heading Blank products.
  2. Click Add product → /blank-products/new (Create New Products).
  3. Choose Supplier Product → /blank-products/new/supplier-product.

  1. In the supplier wizard, pick SanMar (or another supplier) from the supplier list, then walk the steps:

Info → Print Location → Variant Settings → Decoration Methods → Decoration Area → PSD Uploads → Send to channel

Steps — turn the blank into a retail product

  1. Open Catalog (/products/new-product), find the blank, enter the designer (/products/new-product/{blankId}).
  2. Place artwork, then Create Product on the listing step (state Draft or Active).
  3. Confirm under Products → Retail Products (/products).

What happens next

Assign print-method pricing on the blank (Print Methods at /products/blanks/{blankId}/print-methods) so decoration costs resolve in the designer.
