Generate a merch design with AI

Generate artwork with AI credits inside the product designer (or the MyCart store-builder designs step).

Prerequisites

• AI credits available — admins manage packs at Settings → Billing → AI credits (/settings/billing/ai-credits)
• A product open in the designer, or a Launch Store designs step

A — Product designer

1. Catalog → open designer /products/new-product/{id}.
2. Sidebar tab AI Design (section heading AI Design).
3. Field Describe your design; set style/shape (e.g. Vintage / Retro, Square (1:1)).
4. Click Generate 4 variations.

1. After locking a result: Edit this design more or Replace with new design.
2. Finish with Create Product on the listing step when ready.

B — Store builder merch drop

1. Stores → New store → Our App → Launch Store (MyCart preset flow).
2. On the designs step, use:

• Generate design · {n} credit(s) (single)
• Generate {n} designs · {n} credits (batch)

1. Credit gate action name in code: merch_design_generate.

What happens next

Generated art behaves like uploaded artwork on the canvas. Credits decrement per plan pricing.
